Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pa
  2. Prepare the chocolate fudge cake mix according to the package directions and pour the batter into the prepared pa
  3. Bake for 28-33 minutes until a wooden skewer comes out clea
  4. Let the cake cool for 10-15 minutes, then poke holes all over the top
  5. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake, then add cherry pie filling on top
  6. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
  7. Spread whipped topping over the cherry pie filling and garnish with chocolate shavings and fresh cherries before serving
