Ingredients
1 box (14.4 oz) Graham Crackers
2 packages (3.4 oz each) Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
3 cups Milk
1 package (8 oz) Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup Powdered Sugar, sifted
1 container (8 oz) Whipped Topping, thawed
1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/4 cup Milk (for topping)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the two packages of instant vanilla pudding mix with 3 cups of cold milk. Whisk for about 2 minutes until thickened
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sifted powdered sugar until smooth
- Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture, then carefully fold in the prepared pudding until combined
- Arrange a layer of graham crackers in a 9×13 inch baking dish
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers
- Add another layer of graham crackers on top
- Spread the remaining pudding mixture over this layer
- Top with another layer of graham crackers
- In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter and whisk in cocoa powder and 1/4 cup milk until smooth. Cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened, then stir in vanilla and powdered sugar
- Pour the chocolate topping over the final layer of graham crackers
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or overnight
- Slice into squares and serve
Notes
Use cold milk for the pudding to set properly.
Chill overnight for best results.
