Ingredients
1 box (15.25 oz) Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
1 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
4 Large Eggs
8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
3 cups Powdered Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1/4 teaspoon Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pa
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate fudge cake mix, 1/2 cup (1 stick) of melted butter, and 2 of the large eggs. Mix until a thick, uniform dough forms
- Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pa
- In the same bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until well combined
- Add the remaining 2 eggs, 1/2 cup (1 stick) of melted butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan and spread evenly
- Bake for 40-50 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is jiggly
- Cool completely on a wire rack before refrigerating for at least 2 hours
- Slice into squares and serve
Notes
