½ cup Vegetable Oil
¾ cup Water
4 Large Eggs
½ cup Sour Cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
½ cup Light Brown Sugar (packed)
2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamo
2 cups Powdered Sugar (confectioners’ sugar)
4 tablespoons Milk (any kind)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pan by preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing a 9×13-inch baking pa
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, water, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together brown sugar and cinnamo
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, top with remaining batter, and finish with the remaining cinnamon-sugar
  5. Use a knife to swirl the batter gently
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clea
  7. Cool for 10-15 minutes in the pa
  8. In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze
  9. Pour glaze over the warm cake and let it cool completely in the pan for at least an hour before serving

Notes

For a smaller batch, halve the recipe and use an 8×8-inch baking pan.
