Ingredients
1 package (14.3 oz) Golden Oreo or Nilla Wafer cookies, crushed finely
½ cup Unsalted butter, melted
2 packages (8 oz each) Cream cheese, full fat, softened
1½ cups Powdered sugar
1 container (8 oz) Whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
2 packages (3.4 oz each) Instant lemon pudding mix
3 cups Cold milk (whole or 2%)
2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon Lemon zest
½ cup Fresh berries (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by crushing cookies and mixing with melted butter, then press into a 9×13-inch baking dish and chill
- Make the cream cheese layer by beating cream cheese and powdered sugar, then fold in half of the whipped topping and spread over the crust
- Whisk lemon pudding mix with cold milk and lemon juice until thick, then spread over the cream cheese layer
- Top with remaining whipped topping, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight
- Before serving, garnish with lemon zest and fresh berries if desired
Notes
Use fresh lemons for juice and zest for the best flavor.
Make sure cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps.
