1012 Oreo Cookies, roughly chopped
24 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup Granulated Sugar
3 Large Eggs
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 cup Oreo Cookies, crushed
56 Oreo Cookies, roughly chopped (for garnish)
Chocolate Sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pa
  2. Chop Oreos for the brownie base and crush Oreos for the cheesecake layer
  3. Mix melted butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl, then add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then combine with wet ingredients and fold in chopped Oreos
  5. Bake brownie layer for 18-20 minutes until edges are set
  6. Beat cream cheese until smooth, add sugar gradually, then eggs one at a time, followed by sour cream and vanilla
  7. Fold in crushed Oreos and pour cheesecake batter over the baked brownie base
  8. Optionally, wrap the pan with foil and place it in a larger pan filled with water for a water bath
  9. Bake for 60-75 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly
  10. Cool the cheesecake in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 6-8 hours before serving
  11. Garnish with chopped Oreos and drizzle with chocolate sauce if desired
