1/4 teaspoon Yellow food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the 'Dredging' Mix: In a medium bowl, thoroughly whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt
- Make the Wet Batter: Whisk the egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until well combined
- Set Up Your Dipping Station: Arrange your workstation with wet batter, dry chocolate flour mix, and crushed cornflakes
- Prepare the Cornflake Breading: Crush the cornflakes and mix with melted butter in a shallow dish
